1 month Custom Charge  =  1000 LE 
after 1 month you must take 4 month = 3000 LE

Harbor agency fee: After 2 days you must pay every day 10% from 65 LE per day as long you stay in the harbor aria and as long you don`t say to your agency, that you have moved to any other place in front of same hotels or marina.
The payment to the agency will be made on the end when you leave the Port or the aria of the port.

Custom fee, is the most expensive fee what you must pay (for 1month or 4 month)
The sailing permission covert only special aria, going to a different aria: example Safaga or Sharm El Sheik  Harbor,  you apply for a new sailing  permission for this area, 
Egypt Info general 
To return to the old aria you must apply for a new sailing permission.
you must pay always the anchor, mooring harbor fees as long you stay in Egypt aria, you must pay every day the harbor fees as listed. *
By changing arias or the port, you pay around from US $ 160,- to ??? incl. Agency fees.
to get the permission from one aria to a other aria takes 1 day, if you give the order in the morning to the agency, otherwise you get this on the next day, but always only through the agency.
be careful same area are National parks, if you stay there you must pay an additional fee (general 5$ ea person and day) like Gifton Island(Hurghada) or Ras Muhamad (Sinai Sharm el Sheikh).

Declaration by your self is almost not possible
The Yacht certificate must be by the agent until you live the Port aria
It is impossible to understanding how the calculate the harbor fee. In reality, you must eat, as it is.
All this fee is also to pay in Alexandria (sometimes you can stay without for 2-3 days without paying the
Another problem you must go through the  very expensive Suez canal.

 
When you see now the List, it will be clear that the sailing in the Red Sea is an expensive pleasure. It's appears that Sailing in the beautiful Red Sea is a punishment.
It's appears also that the Red Sea Government have no interests in this kind of tourisms.
Changing ports needs a lot of time, permissions from the authorities and this always with the agencies in this ports, what make the cost more higher.
On the top you must past the Suez canal, since 10, December 2000, they change the fee from almost US $ 380,-  to  US $ 1000,-  by a sailing yacht from 13 meters length ( the List from this cost see here)

Safaga: 
 Please do not make the Declaration in this Port, if you like to stay in this aria for 1 month. Sometimes you will get problems then in Hurghada or Sharm el Sheikh or you must pay twice. In Safaga or Marsa Alam you will get only Visa for one month not any sailing permission.

As a follow up to our little crusade against the heavy charges (especially
the LE 1,000 per month Customs Fee) levied by the Egyptian Government on
passing cruising yachts we have been pushing the Red Sea Governor and other
Gov. Ministers to do something about these excessive fees and we hope for
good results in the near future.

In the meantime as a show of solidarity towards cruising yachts (Yachties)
our company Chairman has decided to help balance the costs of visiting Egypt
and its many wonders by letting any cruising sailing yacht up to 20m stay in
Abu Tig Marina for FREE...!

The conditions are (as of 01/04/01):
1.0 Any foreign flag sailing yacht up to 20m LOA staying more than 10 days
and up to a max of 30 days entitles yachts to FREE berthing for one month.
2.0 Water will be charged at LE 15 per 1000 lit and Electricity at LE 0.45
per kWh
3.0 For visits up to 10 days only: the normal rate of US $ 15 per night
incl. water and elec. applies
4.0 More than 30 days: Discounted monthly rate of LE 80 per meter per month.
